Hot Rolled coils and Sheets
Hot rolled coil,is a coil of Steel rolled on a hot-strip mill.It is made from raw material only for e.g., Billets, Slabs. Hot rolled coils have application in virtually all sectors of industry. For example, transport, construction, shipbuilding, gas containers, pressure vessels, energy pipelines. They are used more in comparison to the usage of Cold Rolled Coils on a global level. Its uses are anything from Light Steel Fabrication to the heaviest and is pre dominantly applied in.
Hot Rolled Chequered Coils and Sheets
Chequered coils are steel plates with rhombic (tear drop) shapes on the surface. Because of the rhombic shapes, the surface of the plates is rough.
Cold Rolled Coils and Sheets
The process of cold rolling consists of reducing thickness of hot rolled coils to desired thickness in several passes (according to set pass schedule).This results in :
Closer dimensional tolerance.
Improved shape.
Improved surface.
